To remove this window that only shows advertising on Messenger and slows the sign in time, we recommend you follow these steps:
1) Go to Tools on the MSN Messenger main window (where you see your contact list).
2) Here, go to OPTIONS
3) Click on Preferences and uncheck the option that says "Display MSN Today."
Accept and ready, the MSN Today window will not appear again the next time you log on your MSN Messenger.
